SCEA’s Greg Phillips has confirmed that the new Resistance: Fall of Man content which had been expected at the end of May will now be released on June 7.

The DLC, itself, is on track and ready to go as promised by Insomniac back in March,” said Phillips. “The reason for the delay is we (SCEA) needed a little extra time to get the global servers locked in and ready for thousands of players to come knocking. We would rather have a short delay and continue to deliver on our over the top, online experience.

The new DLC will include two new maps and enable players from different territories to compete against each other.
