Over on the official PlayStation Blog, James Stevenson, Community Relations Manager at Insomniac Games, has offered further nuggets of info sure to get Resistance fans frothing at the mouth.

“We’ve been working hard getting Resistance 2 ready for its fall release,” explained Stevenson. “Right now we’re play-testing 60-player multiplayer and eight-player co-op daily, while tweaking sections of our single-player levels.”

He continued: “Needless to say, the game is rapidly progressing and every time we play there are new assets and tech going in.”

These comments came alongside the release of the game’s teaser trailer, more info on which and the game in general are promised in the Full Moon Show Podcast on April 17.

Resistance 2 is currently scheduled for release in November 2008.
