Capcom plans to ship 2.5 million copies of squad-based shooter Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, according to the publisher’s latest forecasts.

Hot on Resi’s heels is Street Fighter x Tekken, which Capcom expects will move 2 million units, and all new IP Dragon’s Dogma which Capcom is hoping to deliver 1.5 million units worldwide in the fiscal year ending March 31.

The publisher is less optimistic about Dead Rising 2 re-imagining, Off the Record, which Capcom has only estimated 800k units shipped – a modest number given the return of series favourite Frank West.

Resident Evil and Street Fighter should both sell well due to being popular gaming franchises, but Dragon’s Dogma is more uncertain. Capcom hasn’t had great success bringing new IP to market, with Dark Void failing critically and commercially.
