In 2011 the infamous terrorist behind 9/11 Osama Bin Laden was killed during a raid on his compound by the US military. Now in 2017, the CIA has publicly revealed the contents of the hard drive in said compound, containing nearly 470,000 files.

The files were released ‘in the interest of transparency and to enhance public understanding of al-Qa‘ida and its former leader’ and, interestingly enough includes mentions of the Resident Evil and Final Fantasy films, in addition to the Devil May Cry anime.

Sadly at the time of writing, the files are temporarily unavailable ‘due to a technical issue’ but PCGamesN reports that the file dump also contained references to several DS games via emulator, including New Super Mario Bros and Animal Crossing Wild World. There were also torrents found for PC games Zuma and Army Men 2.

2017 is proving to be a very weird year.
