Resident Evil 4: Ultimate HD Edition, a revamped version of the classic action-horror, is heading to PC on February 28, Capcom has announced.

Available as a digital release worldwide and as a physical release across Europe, Capcom promises that the Ultimate HD Edition will deliver the “highest visual fidelity ever with stunning HD running at a smooth 60 frames per second”. It’ll also feature Steam achievements and bonus content, including the Separate Ways epilogue.

The game will be available for €19.99 across Europe, although a UK price has yet to be announced.

Resident Evil 4 has released on PC before, of course, with Ubisoft picking up the rights to Sourcenext’s poor PC port in 2007. The Ultimate HD Edition is not expected to be related to Sourcenext’s version.

A pre-order campaign for the game is due to go live on Steam later today, offering a digital soundtrack and digital artbook to pre-order customers. For the first screenshots, head through here.
