Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster “performed favourably with approximately 800 thousand units sold” as of March 31, 2016, Capcom president Haruhiro Tsujimoto has said.
The game launched digitally on January 19 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and Windows PC.
Capcom intends to sell 7.5 million digital titles in the current financial year, up 1.4 million from the previous year. Titles will include Resident Evil 4 and 5 on PS4 and Xbox One, Resident Evil Umbrella Corps and Ace Attorney 6. A full remake of Resident Evil 2 is also in production, though it’s not clear when it will launch.
