MTV Multiplayer reports that Resident Evil 5 cinematic director Jim Sonzero is in talks with Capcom over the possibility of directing a live action movie based on one of its video game franchises. Sonzero declined to give any further details.
Prior to work on Resident Evil 5, Sonzero directed the Kristen Bell horror Pulse.
Sonzero did a great job with the Resident Evil 5 cinematics and this is an area he is very much interested in exploring.
“I am definitely very interested in taking cinematics to a whole new level and keep moving in this direction,” he told MTV.
