GRID 2’s £125,000 BAC Mono Edition hasn’t yet sold, a Codemasters representative confirmed to VideoGamer.com this afternoon, following the reveal of Deep Silver’s $1 million Saints Row 4 Super Dangerous Wad Wad Edition.
The one-off super-expensive edition formed part of a PR stunt in the build-up to GRID 2’s launch, but has so far failed to find a buyer.
The edition includes a PlayStation 3 along with a copy of GRID 2, GRID 2-branded race suit, boots, gloves and helmet, a tour of the BAC factory, and a real, road-legal 170mph BAC Mono supercar.
It’s still available to order via BAC’s website – but will it ever sell? Probably not, I’d wager.
Still, when you consider the alternative of plastic surgery and trips to space in Saints Row 4’s $1m Super Dangerous Wad Wad Edition, spending £125k on a car doesn’t seem all that ridiculous, does it?
