Speaking during a live chart session Remedy Entertainment has revealed it hopes its upcoming psychological thriller Alan Wake will become a long-running franchise, but admits this will depend on how well it does.
“We certainly hope so,” replied Markus Maki, Development Director at Remedy, when asked about Alan Wake becoming a long-running franchise. “That naturally depends how much you like it, so ultimately it’s up to you.”
Remedy Entertainment CFO Mika Reini added: “We’ve certainly planned things in a way that allows us to do more of Alan Wake in the future. We don’t want to close any doors.”
Alan Wake is scheduled for release this spring only on Xbox 360.
