Remedy Entertainment has staple-gunned a 2019 release window to its upcoming third-person action title, codenamed P7.
According to a blurb from the company’s latest financial statement, production on the game has ‘progressed according to our plan’ and is now scheduled to hit stores at some point next year, though no further details were revealed. P7 is due out on PS4, PC, and Xbox One formats.
Elsewhere, the Alan Wake creator confirmed that it’s also planning on rolling out an as-yet unannounced project in 2018, and is currently planning on staffing up for the game. Outside of this, Remedy is also beavering away on the story mode for Crossfire 2.
Remedy is best known for its work on the Max Payne series, having developed the first two entries in the stylish action-shooter franchise for Rockstar Games. It also worked on the supernatural horror title Alan Wake and more recently, the Xbox One-exclusive Quantum Break.
