Remedy Entertainment’s CFO Mika Reini has confirmed that while the studio does have plans to support upcoming psychological thriller Alan Wake with post-release DLC, fans won’t be required to purchase additional episodes in order to experience a satisfactory ending.
Speaking during a live chat hosted by Remedy today, Reini said: “We’re concentrating fully on Alan Wake now. The announcement of DLC was made by Robbie Bach [president, Entertainment & Devices Division, Microsoft], but we’re going to wrap this one up first before going into more detail about downloadable content.”
He added: “What I can tell you is that Alan Wake will have a conclusive and satisfactory ending.”
Alan Wake has been confirmed for release in spring 2010.
