Rockstar Games has finally lassoed a Red Dead Redemption 2 release date, confirming the highly anticipated cowboy sequel will launch on October 26 for PS4 and Xbox One. The game was originally planned to ship in fall 2017 before being pushed back again to spring of this year, making this the third (and hopefully final) delay.
‘We are excited to announce that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on October 26th 2018,’ said the company. ‘We apologize to everyone disappointed by this delay. While we had hoped to have the game out sooner, we require a little extra time for polish.’
