Rayman Origins, the 2D platforming prequel, will be released in the UK on November 25, Ubisoft has announced.
Originally planned as a series of downloadable episodes to begin Christmas 2010, the game switched to a full retail release this summer.
Ubisoft also confirmed collector’s editions for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Wii gamers will have to make do with the regular edition.
Origins leaves the 3D graphics of modern times behind, instead choosing gorgeous 2D visuals and gameplay which shares more with Rayman’s side-scrolling debut.
So impressed are we with the title that it was named one of our games of the show at gamescom 2011.
