Ratchet & Clank is to release on PS4 on April 20, Sony has confirmed – one week ahead of the platform holder’s other major exclusive Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
The game is a modern-day remake of the PS2 original, featuring entirely new 1080p graphics, modernised controls and brand new content, including new planets, boss fights and flight sequences. It’s being developed by Ratchet & Clank creators Insomniac Games.
The movie, meanwhile, is still expected to hit US cinemas on April 29, although a UK date has yet to be confirmed.
