A Ratchet & Clank animated movie will be released in cinemas in 2015, Insomniac Games and Sony Computer Entertainment America have announced.
The film is being produced in partnership with Blockade Entertainment and Rainmaker Entertainment, with Insomniac actively involved in the film’s production, screenplay, character development, and animation consulting.
Perhaps most importantly, Ratchet & Clank writer T.J. Fixman, who has written all of the recent Ratchet & Clank games, is writing the script for the film as well.

Insomniac has also promised an update relating to the release of Ratchet & Clank: QForce PS Vita and Ratchet: Deadlocked.
