Developer tinyBuild has announced it's working on a new battle royale game called Rapture Rejects, set in the universe of the popular webcomic series Cyanide and Happiness.

Here, we find that God has apparently invited all the good folk up to heaven, meaning all the bad-uns are left behind on earth to kill each other as society collapses in on itself.

This being a last-man-standing game, it's pretty obvious what that entails: Scavenge for weapons and lay waste to everyone in your path, leaving you the lone survivor and ultimate victor. Rapture Rejects plays from a top-down perspective, and the trailer certainly seems to capture the dark humour of the webcomic.

Rapture Rejects is due out in '2018-ish,' so hopefully that means we'll see it before the year's out.
