From the team who brought you the Tsunami aid Halo 2 tournament earlier in the year comes another charity event in London for gamers who love to give.

TruePlayerz, organised by club night and fashion label Joystick Junkies, will be hosting a tournament for over 18s in an East London bar on Sunday 29 May from noon to 2am. There will be loads of prizes throughout the day from big-name sponsors, and the overall winner will get to choose the recognised charity the proceeds from the event go to.

As an added incentive, the all-female PMS clan will be on hand to take on any comers. It’s free to watch but to play it’ll cost £3 at the door. More information can be found here. Games often get a bad press – let’s show them what we can do.
