Rainbow Six: Siege’s Doktor’s Curse is a new Halloween event that pits five exterminators against five terrifying monsters in a hide and seek mode set in the appropriately redecorated Theme Park map (via Hardcore Gamer).

So, Doc is now the king of the castle in the abandoned Theme Park, and as we all know, idle hands are the devil’s workshop. He’s taken up a new hobby that rhymes with ‘miniature’, or ‘sculpture’, or ‘gesture’… there are actually very few words that rhyme with ‘torture’. Anyway, the crew of trap Operators haunting the halls and defending their creator are not of this earth.

Smoke is a creature from the sewers, Kapkan became the grim reaper, Frost is a demon, Lesion is now undead, and Ela seeks human flesh as a revenant. These player controlled Operators won’t have their weapons but they will have their traps and a new Nightstride ability which temporarily increases their speed and turns them invisible to escape the clutches of the exterminators.

The Attackers are a group of Sledges that may only use breaching hammers and either Jackal’s, Lion’s, or Pulse’s special gadgets to detect the creatures. The Defenders must outlast or eliminate the Attackers before they return them to sender. Released for all platforms, the mode looks seriously spooky, and players have until November 6 to conquer the Theme Park and snag the creepy cosmetics.

A total of 28 new cosmetic items as well as the Halloween 2018 cosmetic items are up for grabs. Doktor’s Curse Collection packs are unlocked by completing the special Halloween-themed challenges, or players will be able to buy the packs for 300 R6 credits or 12,500 Renown each in the Packs section. Sledge’s cosmetics are in the Sledge Bounty Bundle, which is purchasable with the player’s preferred currency. But be aware, all of these are only available for a limited time.
