Rainbow Six Siege’s first major update has been released offering a host of tweaks and fixes for all versions, but most excitingly a new Ultra-HD Texture Pack for PC gamers.

“The Ultra-HD texture pack will upgrade some of the most common textures in the game, such as characters, and weapons, to a new level of visual fidelity,” explains Ubisoft. “This higher level of detail can be best appreciated while playing the game in 4K resolution, but it’s not limited to that.”

Ubisoft notes that those running a 4GB GPU will still be able to enjoy this texture pack from 1080p to 1440p resolutions. You’ll need a high-end 6GB+ GPU to play the game in 4K using Ultra-HD textures and standard lighting and shading. To see Siege at its very best, however, your PC will need to be equipped with dual GPUs bosting more than 6GB of memory.

The Ultra-HD pack is a separate download available from Steam and Uplay.
