Classic shmup Radiant Silvergun is to be released on Xbox LIVE Arcade on September 14, developer Treasure has revealed on its official website. The date is currently only confirmed for Japan.

The cult classic found fame on the SEGA Saturn, and the XBLA release will be the first time it has been released internationally. The XBLA version comes with numerous improvements, including changes to the chain system, enhanced visuals and online cooperative play.
