Microsoft and Treasure have announced the Xbox LIVE Arcade release of Radiant Silvergun, the classic scrolling shooter and spiritual predecessor to Ikaruga.
The shmup, previously released on SEGA Saturn will be released internationally via XBLA, offering players the chance to experience its unique seven-weapon system and improvements, including the addition of a new system to enhanced the original chain system, high definition visuals and online co-op.
The game should be out in spring 2011.
