It was announced on Twitter that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is getting a new PVP zombie mode in the future.
While we don’t have a release date yet, we do know that the player-controlled zombies will not be a part of the main battle royale mode, and will instead only appear in this separate mode.

Developer Bluehole Studio was sure to say that optimisation remains the focus of the studio, as seen by the update chat from earlier this week.
Battlegrounds has been all over this year’s E3, with one of the biggest announcements being that console players will be able to play it on Xbox One X later this year.
