European ratings body PEGI (via PST) has seemingly confirmed that Puzzle Fighter will be heading to PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in the near future.

Capcom’s brain-teasing title was originally released on mobile platforms last year, and is a strategy-fuelled brawler that sees players battling as iconic Capcom characters plucked from franchises such as Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Mega Man, and more.

The original release allows you to take the fight to players across the globe in real-time battles, where you will build up damage-dealing combos to shatter gems and roundhouse-kick your way up the leaderboards. If you remember Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, then this should be your cup of tea.

While an official announcement has yet to ring in our ears, we can probably expect the same features to come to current-generation consoles alongside a possible visual makeover, as is usually the case with this sort of thing.

Puzzle Fighter is currently available for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
