Pursuit Force fans hoping for another game in the car-hopping series might have a reason to smile after developer BigBig Studios told VideoGamer.com not to rule out a return.

BigBig Studios, based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, is currently working on PSP and PS2 game MotorStorm Arctic Edge.

Speaking to VideoGamer.com last week, game director Richard Ogden revealed that the studio is waiting to finish work on Arctic Edge before deciding what to do next.

“Personally I’d like to not rule it out, I mean you never know, but at the moment we’re focussing on Arctic Edge, then we’d look at what we’re doing next,” said Ogden when asked if we can expect Pursuit Force to return at some point.

“I get emails asking is there going to be another one, what’s happening with Pursuit Force 3. There is no Pursuit Force 3 (laughs).”

So, if it were to return, what are the chances it would be as a PS3 game?

“I think it’s the kind of thing that we always saw as a bigger game,” said Ogden when asked if he’d like to see Pursuit Force moving across to the PS3 at some point. “But like I say, I’m not sure if that will ever happen.”
