Vikendi, the fourth map for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, is now live for the PC version of the game, developer PUBG Corp. has announced.

The winter-themed map was previously rolled out on the shooter's test servers, and measuring at 6×6 is smaller than both Erangel and Miramar, but larger than Sanhok. It also features three weather conditions: Day, Moonlight, and Snow.

Vikendi features some unique weapons too, including the G36C assault rifle, which utilises 5.56mm ammo and a reduced recoil in comparison to its stablemates.

In terms of vehicles, Vikendi includes the snowmobile and snow bike, each one having an advantage in a particular area. For example,  the snow mobile lets you drift, while the snow bike is able to perform well across any terrain.

PUBG Corp. has confirmed that Vikendi will roll out for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the battle royale title in January 2019.
