After resting in the Xbox Game Preview program for just under a year, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is properly out now on Xbox One. Like, properly launched with new map Sanhok and everything.

Expect some faster-paced matches if you're used to Miramir and Erangel, because the new map that comes with update 1.0 is a quarter of the size Xbox players are used to. Sanhok is still basically the same as the others, though, because there's 100 players battling it out / hiding in the bushes for supremacy.

A couple of weapons have also been added: the QBZ assault rifle, and the Sanhok-exclusive QBU DMR. On top of that, there's a new four person pickup, the Rony, which you and three of your buddies can use to get around the new map.

The full patch notes can be found here, which detail a number of other bits and bobs like the brand new Battle Royale and Mini Royale playlists, bugfixes and more.

War Mode and Custom Match have been delayed for the time being to 'let each contents have enough attention from our players, so players won't be divided having long matchmaking time for each content,' apparently.

We have a feeling, despite the fact its now fully released, 1.0 won't be the last update we see for PUBG on Xbox One.
