PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds' crossover with Resident Evil 2 is now live as part of PUBG Mobile's 0.11.0 beta.
The zombie-themed invasion is known as RE2: Sunset, and is a time-limited mode that sees you battling against Resi 2 enemies on Erangel, including not just the shambling undead, but also boss creatures from Capcom's survival horror revamp.
Taking them down will reward you with resources and other items, and there's even a Resident Evil 2-themed menu and music to immerse you in the mode, too.
Elsewhere, the beta adds a bunch of other additions for the chicken-dinner giving shooter, including a push-to-talk feature for matches, a Moonlight theme for Vikendi, and the availability of Sanhok in Arcade- Quick Match.
Resident Evil 2 was released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One last Friday, and I thought it was a bloody triumph. Josh also had a poke around its grisly corridors in detail, turning up some pretty cool references you should check out.
