The mobile version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has received a new update this week, adding a bunch of cool new features including War Mode and additional achievements.

War Mode is an interesting addition as it was previously only available in the PC version of the battle royale title. Here, two teams of 50 duke it out for the first to hit 100 points; three points are given for dispatching an enemy, while reviving someone gives you one point.

PUBG Mobile has also gained a clan system, which is pretty self-explanatory. Each clan has their own icon and you can unlock exclusive goodies by completing various challenges as a team.

Finally, the chicken dinner-loving shooter also gets a new SLR sniper rifle as well as a bunch of additional cosmetics for armour, vehicles, and weapons.

Developer PUBG Corp. recently confirmed that it will be hosting a charity event, where players will compete for a prize pool of $1 million. Meanwhile, those of you who have the Xbox One version of PUBG should fire it up and download the latest update.
