PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile update 0.5.0 is now out in the wild, bringing with it the battle royale title's desert-themed Miramar map.

This latest patch kicks off PUBG Mobile's second season of content, presumably ushering in new cosmetic items and a stat reset. One thing to look out for are Progress Missions, which are weekly tasks that unlock rewards.

Interestingly, the mobile version of PUBG has nabbed the Miramar map before the Xbox One version of the every-man-for-himself-shooter, while PC users have been duking it out on the map for a while now.

Elsewhere, PUBG Mobile also has a shop doing the rounds, which allows players to fork out for cosmetic goodies and something called 'Secret Stash,' which dishes out various special items on the cheap.

There's also some general gameplay improvements to soak up, so have a gander at the official patch notes to find out more.
