Allison Road, a first-person survival horror game which has a striking resemblance to Konamiâs Silent Hills teaser PT, has launched a Kickstarter which aims to raise a minimum of £250,000.
The game is being developed by UK indie team Lilith Ltd.
âIn Allison Road you will take on the role of the unnamed protagonist, who wakes up one day without any recollection of prior events,â it says. âOver the course of five nights it is your objective to uncover the whereabouts of your family, unravel the mysteries of the house, and face off against Lily and other dark entities that are nested deep within its walls, while the clock is relentlessly ticking towards 3:00am. What would you do if you could feel something stalking you in the dark in the safety of your own home? If you couldnât tell whatâs real and whatâs not? The single-player campaign will mostly take place in one British townhouse. Your British townhouse.â
The project began as a one-man endeavour in September 2014, but now has a team of six.
£250,000 is needed for the PC version with a release date pencilled in for the end of 2016. Mac, PS4 and Xbox One versions will follow, with their release dates being determined by the success of the Kickstarter campaign.
âWeâd love to be able to bring all platforms closer to a day one release in order to satisfy every Allison Road backer,â explains the studio. âIn order to do this weâll need to significantly expand our resources and budget, and if we can reach the funding number required weâd be excited to try and do this.â
The campaign is off to a great start with over £50,000 raised in just one day.
