An all new Psychonauts game exclusively for PlayStation VR will launch on February 21, Double Fine has announced.
Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin is a standalone chapter of the Psychonauts saga, designed to bridge the gap between the first game and the in-development sequel.
Players assume the role of young psychic Raz who is now a fully fledged member of the Psychonauts – an elite group of psychic secret agents. Viewing the world through Raz’s eyes players will need to use his psychic powers to solve puzzles.
Fans of the first game will be pleased to see the VR game pick up directly after the original, with Raz, Lili, Sasha, Milla, and Coach Oleander flying off to rescue Truman Zannotto, the Grand Head of the Psychonauts.
Double Fine hasn’t released a trailer, but instead check out the 3D screenshot below, which allows you to spin the camera as if in VR and see what else is going on.
