Insomniac Games' Spider-Man for PlayStation 4 is the UK's fastest-selling game so far this year, Chart-Track has revealed.
That's a pretty impressive milestone, considering it's beaten not only fellow PS4-exclusive God of War, but also Far Cry 5, which is a multiplatform title. In addition, Spider-Man is also the fastest-selling Marvel-branded video game of all time, knocking LEGO Marvel Super Heroes off the top spot.
The only thing the web-slinging adventurer hasn't done is topple Batman: Arkham Knight as the fastest-selling superhero game of the current generation. Still, you can't have them all, I guess.
Spider-Man also managed to fend off competition from two major new titles, with Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age and Destiny 2: Forsaken debuting in second and eighth place, respectively.
