Sony is set to introduce the option to preload PS4 titles from the PlayStation Store next month, InFamous: Second Son developer Sucker Punch has revealed.

The new feature will let digital buyers download games from PSN ahead of the game’s launch to ensure they’re ready to go as soon it releases.

Sucker Punch says that the initiative will be introduced by SCEA but is unsure whether SCEE has similar plans to roll out preloading across Europe.

Sony has yet to formally announce plans to allow preloading.
