Amazon.com is the latest retailer to sell out of its launch allocation of both the Xbox One and PS4.

The retailer posted on Facebook to inform customers that while it continues to accept pre-orders for the next generation consoles, it cannot guarantee further orders for delivery on launch day.

“After a crazy and exciting month, we’ve sold through our initial allocations of PS4 and Xbox One,” wrote Amazon.com.

“Thank you to all who have ordered and shared your opinions. We have the Standard Editions for both consoles still available, but we can’t guarantee these at release. Please check back here as we’ll update you first if we receive further release day allocations.”

This week Best Buy sold out of its Xbox One launch allocation, and GameStop ceased accepting orders for the PS4.

In the UK, all major retailers continue to accept pre-orders for the PS4 and Xbox One, including Amazon and GAME.
