A poster on PS3Forums has somehow managed to get a hold of the press releases due to be given out at Sony’s US Gamers Day event which takes place later this week. The press releases obtained include lots of new information on the PlayStation 3’s e-Distribution service – think along the lines of Xbox Live Arcade, but on the PS3.

First party e-Distribution titles include Blast Factor, a shoot ’em-up with support for the tilt sensing of the Sixaxis and self-adjusting difficulty. The game also includes online rankings and is said to be in development at Bluepoint Games.

Also on the way via e-Distribution are Go Sudoku, Swizzleblocks, Criminal Crackdown, flow (made an appearance at TGS) and Lemmings 2, which is a new game and not just a port of a game from many moons ago.

There’s also support from third-parties, with the former PSP title GripShift, Crash Carnage Ciaos (sounds like a typo, but we’ll know for sure once the press info is officially released) and Wheel of Fortune.

Expect much more PlayStation 3 info, including more information on e-Distribution, once Gamers Day commences.
