Good news for UK PS3-owning Call of Duty 4 fans, Infinity Ward has finally confirmed that the Variety Map Pack will be available to download through PSN on April24 in both Europe and North America.
Speaking on the developer’s official blog, community manager Robert Dowling also confirmed that the Double XP/Play with the Devs events will also be hitting both continents simultaneously.
The Double XP weekend will run from 12.01am UK time on Friday, 25 April to 11.59pm PDT on Sunday, 27 April. The Play with the Devs day will run on Friday 25 April, and the Infinity Ward team will be playing online on Friday from 11am to 2pm PDT, and then from 5pm to 8pm PDT.
Last week publisher Activision announced that the Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack had set a new record for the number of paid downloads on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, surpassing one million downloads in only nine days.
