The PS3 Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack DLC is in Sony’s hands for certification, developer Infinity Ward has revealed.
Speaking on its official website, the developer said it was “shooting” for a worldwide simultaneous release and working to bring word of a release date as we speak.
Xbox 360 owners have already been enjoying the CoD4 DLC since last week, although Xbox LIVE did experience service issues as a result of the heavy workload.
Infinity Ward does, however, expect the Variety Map Pack to arrive on PSN “around the same time” as Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Game of the Year Edition for PS3 comes out in stores, on which details will be arriving “hopefully this week”.
