Futuridium EP Deluxe, a fast-paced space shooter announced for PS Vita in February, is also in development for PS4, developer MixedBag has said.

The game is a fast old school 3D shooter inspired by the 8-bit classic Uridium, built with retro-style low poly 3D graphics but with a layer of full screen post processing effects.

As a lone starship pilot lost in a dimensional loop with a depleting energy bar, you’ll encounter endless waves of giant space dreadnoughts. Players must destroy the blue energy cubes on the dreadnoughts to refill their tank and expose the main power core, which must be destroyed to move on to the next ship.

The PS4 version runs in 1080p at 60 frames per second and boasts additional graphical effects over the PS Vita version.

The game will launch simultaneously on Vita and PS4 soon, complete with Cross-Buy so you’ll get both versions for the price of one.
