A candid snap of a PS Vita display case at E3 has revealed Sony will be releasing 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB memory cards for the handheld.

The memory units look similar in appearance to the Micro SD format, but are said to be specific to the PS Vita – therefore likely to carry a premium price tag.

The same picture also confirmed that Sony plans to release an official cleaning cloth and various cases.

The ability for PS Vita game cards to handle game saves means it won’t be essential for buyers to pick up a memory card on which to store game saves. Therefore we don’t anticipate Sony will provide a low capacity card packed-in with the handheld. Anyone planning on downloading games and other content will need to buy a memory card.
