The wonders you stumble across in your YouTube recommendations, there’s a Courage The Cowardly Dog fan-made game coming soon that looks incredible, and, even more amazingly, it’s entirely built in PlayStation’s underrated Dreams. If you don’t own Dreams, the good news is that it’s available for all PS Plus Extra subscribers.
Its trailer is shared by creator El Gato Del Tejado on YouTube, and it has a release date of November 28th. The trailer sees the iconic Courage brave numerous terrors, and it’s astonishing just how well the creator was able to flawlessly replicate the classic Cartoon Network show we all loved watching as kids. It has swimming, it has combat, it has cut-scenes, it has everything that makes it look like an official game rather than a fan-made game within a game.
For those who have forgotten all about Dreams, it’s from Media Molecule, the developers most known for Little Big Planet. While Little Big Planet was famous for allowing PlayStation players to make and share creative levels, Dreams was a massive step above, boasting the ability to make levels in under ten minutes as well as entire games for talented individuals.
It was reportedly a nightmare to work on for Media Molecule, but the game still had a fantastic set of tools. Thankfully, you can play Dreams on PS5 through backwards compatibility, but sadly a PS5 version was never released despite Media Molecule exploring the possibility.
Dreams is free with PS Plus Extra. If you are not already subscribed, a PS Plus Extra subscription costs $14.99 for one month, $39.99 for three months, and $134.99 for 12-months. There’s also the option of PS Plus Premium which is $200 cheaper than Xbox Game Pass Ultimate even for a year.
PS Plus November 2025 Games Confirmed and Leaving
The PS Plus November 2025 Essential games have arrived, and they include Stray, EA Sports WRC 24, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. These are available to claim until December 2nd so make sure to add to your library before next month arrives.
The PS Plus Extra and Premium games should be announced on November 12th before releasing on November 18th. All that’s confirmed so far is Tomb Raider Anniversary after it was weirdly delayed from October.
Finally, below are all the games set to leave Extra and Premium on November 18th:
- Alternate Jake Hunter Daedalus – The Awakening of Golden Jazz
- Battlefield V
- Digimon Survive
- Football Manager 2024
- Like a Dragon Ishin
- Synapse
- Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes
Tomb Raider Anniversary is a fantastic classic to look forward to in a couple of weeks, but we’re especially looking forward to redownloading Dreams so we can play Courage The Cowardly Dog.
