The Project Spark beta will arrive on Xbox One later today, Microsoft has confirmed.

Anybody with previous access to the Windows 8.1 beta will automatically receive access to the Xbox One beta, with those still left without a key encouraged to sign up on Microsoft’s website.

Project Spark lets players create their own worlds and explore those created by others, and includes support for cross-platform play, letting players build their creation on a PC and continue playing on an Xbox One.

“Since the Project Spark Beta released on Windows 8.1 devices in December 2013, more than 250,000 fans signed up with hundreds of new requests daily, taking advantage of the game’s revolutionary toolset to create custom adventures and unique worlds,” said Microsoft.

“With the Beta now available on Xbox One and Windows 8.1, eager fans can join a dynamic development community of designers to create, explore and play within their own world, or jump into other community-creations to modify and collaborate on a game for endless possibilities.”

The game is due to launch in full later this year.
