Project Gotham Racing 3 will feature over 90 licensed tracks from top selling artists that will span nine genres including rock, hip hop and dance. The artists already announced to appear in the game are Bloc Party, Death Cab for Cutie, Hot Hot Heat, Queens of the Stone Age and The Chemical Brothers. Players will be able to choose which style of music they tune into so don’t worry if hip hop isn’t your ting. With Microsoft’s new Xbox 360 dashboard every game should support custom soundtracks, so we doubt Project Gotham Racing 3 will be any different.
Microsoft still hasn’t announced when PGR3 will be hitting retail, but if rumours are to be believed the game may well miss the Xbox 360’s launch. The wait for an answer most probably won’t be all that long with plenty of announcements expected at Microsoft’s X05 event next week.
