Whilst most people sit and moan about the state of affairs with EA taking over the world, they seem to have let the success Take-Two Interactive slip them by. The company posted profits that were up by 74 percent over the same period last year (the fiscal quarter ended January 31st, 2005), with sales totalling $502.5 million – around £260 million.

Helped in no small part by a certain 12 million selling GTA game, the company looks to be stronger than ever, and could soon be vying for the title of “Most Vilified Publisher By Internet Forum Posters,” the title of which is currently held by EA.
