The 15 overall winners of Pro-G’s Xbox Live Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter Tournament that took place last week were invited to take part in a real-life final at Campaign Paintball, a paintball venue in Surrey. The venue was kitted out with plasma screens, Xbox 360s, and even a Pimp My Ride-style Land Rover with a full gaming set-up in an open boot – blinging. Despite the sheer heat of that day, we’re pleased to report all the equipment made it back to base in solid form.

The big final kicked off in the morning and went on till early afternoon, producing three overall winners. In first place came Alberto Pino, aka IIDeathGodII, who took home a tidy sum of £300. In second place came James Gaskell, aka TTR JimmyGee, and third Adam Plumb, aka TTR Plumsaround, both pocketing £100 each. The runners up each got a GRAW goodie pack containing limited edition t-shirt, lighter, belt, dogtag, and stickers.

Once that was all sorted, we promptly proceeded to blast the living daylights out of each other in some frenzied paintball matches, which as you might have guessed was good fun, especially in the knowledge that it was all free courtesy of Ubisoft and Campaign Paintball – thanks!

With all the excitement over, a large TV was setup to watch the World Cup, which didn’t go too well for England – we’ll blame Ronaldo, but Rooney lost his head. Despite this, the day was great fun and everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves. For the full report on the day, check out News0r.
