According to PlayStation.com a remake of the original 1989 action adventure title that helped define the genre, Prince of Persia Classic, is to be released on PlayStation Network.
The game promises high definition visuals, new character designs, animations, controls, new content and three game modes: Normal, Time Attack and Survival – complete the game without dying.
It sounds like a straight up port of the game released on Xbox LIVE Arcade in 2007 and should therefore be worth a look for PS3 owners who haven’t already given the XBLA version a try. You’ll find a bunch of screens from the Xbox 360 version here. There’s no confirmed PSN release date, but we’re expecting it any time now.
