Pictures of an Xbox 360 bundled with Halo 3 have emerged on a Spanish Internet forum, sparking rumours that UK gamers may be in line for a similar package.
The pictures show what looks like an official Microsoft European Halo 3 bundle, with a HDMI-equipped Premium 360, 20GB hard disk, Play and Charge kit and a bundle copy of Halo 3. The receipt shows the gamer who purchased the package paid â¬384.90.
That works out at around £265 according to current currency exchange rates. A Premium 360 is £250 in the UK at the moment, and Halo 3 is around £40.
An official 360 Premium Halo 3 bundle would surely be a strong weapon in Microsoft’s Christmas battle with Sony and Nintendo. Last week Sony revealed a £75 price cut for the 60GB PS3 (down to £349) and a new stripped-down 40GB PS3 for £299.99.
We’ve asked MS for comment and will update you as soon as we hear back.
