Premiership stars promote FIFA 14 launch at GAME

Premier League footballers Jack Collison of West Ham and Scott Parker of Fulham will be appearing at GAME stores on Thursday ahead of the FIFA 14 launch, the specialist retailer has announced.

Scott Parker will be in the Hayes stores between 4pm – 6pm, and Jack Collison and Jamie Forrest (Celtic) will be in the West Thurrock and Livingston stores from 6pm – 8pm. The players will be signing Limited Edition packs and showing off their FIFA 13 skills.

Furthermore, GAME stores in Nuneaton, Doncaster and Newcastle will be visited by Leicester City winger, Anthony Knockaert, Doncaster Rovers midfielder, Harry Forrester and Newcastle striker Shola Ameobi from 4pm-6pm on launch day.

Fans in Liverpool will also get a visit from Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson who will be in store from 3pm-5pm on Friday.

Lucky gamers across the stores will have the chance to win a match against the football stars.

Dave Howard, stores director at GAME said: “FIFA 14 is going to be a huge hit with fans and we’re expecting big crowds for our midnight openings. Over 300 GAME stores will be opening at midnight and we know how important it is for fans to get their hands on the game as soon as possible. And we’re delighted to announce the premiership talent we’ve got coming along to some of our stores – we’ve put our best squad forward to kick off the FIFA 14 season in style!”

FIFA 14 launches on Friday for all current generation platforms, with Xbox One and PS4 editions coming alongside the respective console launches.
