UPDATE: Various online reports suggest that the game may have been converted to a free-to-play title, with courses said to be available as in-game purchases.
Microsoft has yet to formally announce the change.
ORIGINAL REPORT: Powerstar Golf is currently available to download for free on Xbox One. The game would usually set you back £15.99.
It isn’t clear why the game has had its price reduced to zero or whether the discount is a mistake on Microsoft’s part. If it’s the latter, pick it up quickly by heading through to xbox.com.
Microsoft’s Games with Gold initiative isn’t due to kick off on Xbox One until next month, with the first free games expected to be Halo: Spartan Assault and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood.
Powerstar Golf launched alongside Xbox One last November.
