The countdown clock featured on the Aperture Science website hit zero a few minutes ago to reveal a message feed from GlaDOS.

After teasing an April Fool – very funny – readers of the website were told that Portal 2 isn’t available yet, but can be pushed to release early if PC gamers buy and play titles from The Potato Sack – an indie game bundle featuring titles such as Super Meat Boy, Killing Floor, Audiosurf and The Ball.

If a predetermined criteria is met Valve will release Portal 2 early via Steam. Otherwise you’ll have to wait until Tuesday.

See the current status of the challenge here, where you’ll also find a link to The Potato Sack bundle.

Console gamers in the UK will have to wait until Thursday, April 21 no matter what the outcome.
