Prince of Persia doesn’t arrive in stores until next month, but the game’s producer, Ben Mattes, is already hinting at what’s in the pipeline regarding DLC. The good news is that we should expect something much more grand in scale to the usual costume or weapon packs. Mattes is thinking a whole new story.

“If we’re going to do it, it’s going to be a new story, a new experience, maybe a prequel, maybe a sequel – we’re going to do something that really offers a lot of value for the player,” Mattes told Gamersyde. “In terms of when: sometime next year – I’m not sure of exactly when, it’s all still in discussion.”

First GTA 4, then Tomb Raider: Underworld and now Prince of Persia; it looks like expanding the story is fast becoming the norm.
